GMO's Food or Foe

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's) are the subject of a presentation by Dr. Sharon Wallace  at 7:00 PM on February 15^th, 2013 at the Aberdeen High School Community Room, 410 North G Street in Aberdeen.

Sharon Wallace is a consumer health information advocate and a member of the Institute for Responsible Technology, a world leader in educating policy makers and the public about genetically modified foods and crops.

While investigating why health conscious individuals were becoming sick, she began to realize our food supply was a contributing factor to their illness.  She will talk about genetically modified organisms (GMO’s) and how they are poisoning the American food supply.

Dr. Wallace is a professor of nursing at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland and has presented at local, national, and international conferences on information technology and health care. She has published on nursing education and has been a contributing author in textbooks on Pharmacology and Evidence Based Practice.
