Jonathan Greenberg is an investigative journalist, Huffington Post blogger (Tougher Tactics Desperately Needed to Win War on GMO Food) and a media innovator dedicated to expanding media democracy. He is the founder of the public interest digital communication company Progressive Source Communicationsand the creator of the Know GMO.org project started during California’s Prop 37 Campaign to label GMOs. In the past, Jonathan has been a financial journalist for the New York Times, Washington Post, Mother Jones, Money and other publications and has managed web strategies for the ACLU, Physicians for a National Health Program, Stonyfield Farms and others.
While spearheading grassroots advocacy efforts for YES on Prop 37, Jonathan came to realize the reasons for the bill’s failures within the campaign itself and which was later repeated in the GMO labeling’s defeat in Washington state.
