General Mills, Post, Kroger, Chipotle and other companies have responded to this consumer demand, some seeing their share prices soar. While Nestle, Kraft and other sit idle, a question for their shareholders is: Isn’t it the responsibility of the executives at these big food companies to do the same, capturing this value for their shareholders?
It’s their fiduciary duty, a legal obligation.
The thousand dollar question is: Who will be next?
