Alan Lewis

Mr. Lewis directs Government Affairs and Food and Agriculture Policy for Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, a 60-year-old health food chain operating over 85 stores in fifteen western states. He is active in many trade organizations and sits on the Boulder County Food and Agriculture Policy Council. His focus is on communicating with local and federal policy makers using frameworks that are non-confrontational and inclusive. He has lived for extended periods in Portugal, Haiti, and Dominica, where he developed a keen appreciation for the variables of agriculture production and food systems within different geographic, cultural and economic contexts.



Trey Rogers, Esq.

Mr. Rogers practice is focused on litigation, public law and government relations. He has significant experience in local and national politics. He assists clients on public policy development, regulatory and legislative solutions, election law, campaign finance, and governmental strategies.His litigation experience includes jury and bench trials, arbitrations, and mediations.Mr. Rogers has extensive experience with motions practice, discovery, and appellate advocacy in complex matters in state and federal courts.

Mark Grueskin

Mark Grueskin is an attorney with Recht Kornfeld PC. Mark's law practice occurs at the junction of all three branches of government. In the courts, he litigates high profile policy and political matters. Mark has served as Special Litigation Counsel to Colorado's Governor, the Transportation Commission of Colorado, and the Colorado General Assembly.In the law-making process, Mark has special expertise in drafting legislation and ballot measures and in initiative petitions. He regularly advises clients about federal, state, and local campaign finance law. Mark also advises many non-profit organizations and serves as counsel to statewide and national trade associations. He often helps them develop policy or political arms and conduct all operations consistent with tax and election laws.Before entering private practice in Colorado, Mark served as Legal Counsel to Governor Richard Lamm (1985-87) and as the Governor's deputy legislative director(1983).



Dana Bieber

Ms. Bieber is a consultant to the NO on 105 Coalition and has studied the public policy impacts of mandatory single-state labeling proposals such as Proposition 105.Ms. Bieber has presented information related to the science behind GMOs, cost impacts of mandatory labeling proposals, the accuracy and reliability of the information provided by such labels, and the indirect economic impacts for farmers, food producers, taxpayers and consumers.



Most recently, Ms. Bieber served as a communications consultant for the campaign to defeat Initiative 522, a proposal nearly identical to Proposition 105 which was rejected by voters in Washington statein November 2013. Ms. Bieber has participated in numerous forums, presentations, debates and interviews related to the impacts of proposals such as Proposition 105, and has provided interviews on this issue for CNBC, CBS Evening News, the NY Times and the Los Angeles Times.
