IT IS TIME!
It is time for consumers, especially mothers of young children to realize the fundamental changes that have occurred to the food supply as a result of GMO crops and the chemicals used in growing them.
It is time for food and grocery manufactures in our country to recognize the harm ingredients from GMO crops in the food supply are causing to the health of the children and the general population in our country. It is time for the grocery chains to make the responsible move and tell the food companies that their customers want food without ingredients from GMOs. The grocery chains made the right choice on rGBH. They helped rid the milk supply of this GMO many years ago, now they need to “speak up” to clean up the rest of the food supply.
It is time for the farmers to recognize that they have NOT been told the “truth” about the safety of GMO crops or glyphosate based herbicides. This made weed control easier in the short term but in the long term the new generations of super weeds are nearly impossible to kill. It is time for the farmers to listen to the independent scientists and researchers who are telling us something is drastically wrong. The problems we are seeing routinely in crop and livestock are not normal. It is time for the farmers to recognize the damage to the soil and the environment that continues to worsen as a result of the use of the GM crops and glyphosate herbicides.
It is time for the researchers at our land grant universities to recognize the problems associated with GMO crops and glyphosate. It is time for them to speak up about the fact that we are going the wrong direction with crop and livestock production. When the health of the livestock and the health of the people are both suffering as a result of GMO crops and glyphosate it is time for a change.
It is time for the medical community including doctors, nurses, nutritionists and others to recognize and listen to those among your profession who see the growing list of problems in the health of those who consume food from GMOs.
It is time for our elected officials at the city, county, state and federal level to open their eyes and see what is happening to the health of the children and the general populace in our country. Dr. Swanson’s work documented a direct correlation between the deteriorating health of the people in our country and the increased use of GMO crops and glyphosate herbicides.
It is time for the people in the regulatory agencies at the state and federal level to stop the approval of any more GMO crops until TRUE long term safety testing is conducted to document the safety of the GMO crop. Substantially equivalent and generally recognized as safe (GRAS) do not hold up to proper scrutiny from the scientific community. It is time for the people in regulatory agencies to be independent of and not from the GM industry.
